Built in 1844 . The Diglis Cottage was previously one of three Lock Keepers cottages with magnificent views of Worcester Cathedral up the river. All the buildings on Diglis Island have listed status and continue to give the look of ‘times gone by’. The property has all ‘mod cons’ including wifi, smart TV, steep stairs to three bedroom (6 beds - two doubles/two singles) modern bathroom with bath and shower, electric central heating and gas cooking in a modern kitchen fully kitted out - allows you to cook A La Carte. The front garden allows you to observe the lock activity in comfort and the back garden to relax and rest in peace and quiet. There are plenty of local walks which includes the Worcester walk that starts in front of Diglis Lock Cottage. You can easily wander into town and discover Worcester‘s unrivalled shopping and restaurant experience. Watch out for the Virgin Balloon flights overhead. We will provide two new bikes for your enjoyment.
