Come visit us and check out our lovely holiday cottage in Worcester . A quaint place with comfy rooms and wood burning fires in the dining room and lounge . We provide all you need to have a lovely stay for a long weekend , mid week break or a whole week of leisure.

Unfortunately this property may not be suitable for children or dogs due to the nature of river Locks.

Full week, mid week (min 2 nghts), week end stays available.

Rates from £95 to £150 depending upon duration of stay and time of year.

Bed Linen, towels, toilet/kitchen rolls, gas, electric, fuel and first breakfast included.

Early check-in and later check out will be considered upon request.
Parking is Free and in a locked gated area a few yards from the locks. Parking is also available immediately in front of the locks whilst you unload your vehicle.
We will notify you on arrival date if the cottage is available earlier.
Situated on Diglis Island within 10 minutes walk of the heart of the Worcester City (1/2 mile) unrivalled selection of experiences including country-side walks along the River Severn.

The Birmingham & Worcester canal is within sight.

Diglis Cottage is perfectly situated for a weekend break, midweek relaxation or a week’s holiday.

Entry to Diglis Cottage is across the double river locks .There are two parking spaces allocated in the compound opposite the Diglis Cottage.

Access by car is via via Diglis Dock Road (WR5 3BS). The River Severn runs behind the cottage over the weir where you may see Eric (the recently spotted seal). The River Severn Locks are in front of the Diglis Cottage , watching boating activity from the house is a pleasure.

You may visit Worcester Cricket Club part of the Ashes Tour - 10 minutes walk or attend Worcester National Hunt Races weekend or night races 15 minutes walk. You are able to arrive by train at Foregate station 15/20 minutes walk. By car you can get to:-

Built in 1844 . The Diglis Cottage was previously one of three Lock Keepers cottages with magnificent views of Worcester Cathedral up the river.

All the buildings on Diglis Island have listed status and continue to give the look of ‘times gone by’.

The property has all ‘mod cons’ including wifi, smart TV, steep stairs to three bedroom (6 beds - two doubles/two singles) modern bathroom with bath and shower, electric central heating and gas cooking in a modern kitchen fully kitted out.

The front garden allows you to observe the lock activity in comfort and the back garden to relax and rest in peace and quiet.

There are plenty of local walks including the Worcester walk that starts in front of Diglis Lock Cottage. You can easily wander into town and discover Worcester‘s unrivalled shopping and restaurant experience.
